Getting Healthy

I am starting this blog for my personal benefit so when I have days that I feel like I can't do this anymore I can look on here and see how well I have done or on the flip side see what I am doing wrong. I graduate from Nursing School in May and I would like to have a baby before I am 30! My OB Dr. wants me to be under 200 before even trying to get pregnant and I want to be well under that, at least 175 if not lower for my health and most importantly the unborn child's health. I have put exercise and eating better off time and time again because of "School". Always been my excuse and now I am sick of it and I know William is sick of it! When I was in high school, I think 10th grade, I weighed 175. I didn't feel good about myself then, I was beginning to lose a little weight and would wear a size 14! That was a big deal because my ideal size was a 12, now here I am 10 years later and I weight 282 and wear a size 24. Not the direction I had hoped to go in!

Today is the day of change!

Today I went to the gym with a friend and I walked/ran 1.5 miles in 30 minutes. Not very good but it is definitely a start.

Today I ate:

B:Sausage Biscuit & Hash brown from McD's with a Diet Dr Pepper
L:Boiled cabbage, black eyed peas, fried potatoes and cornbread
S:24 oz Diet Vanilla Coke
D:4 Bean Chili with hamburger meat, cheese, mustard and chili cheese fritos
S:orange

Drinks: Medium Diet Dr Pepper, 24 oz Diet Vanilla Coke, 1 glass of water.

Starting weight: 282.6
